Session Times for Kindergarten
At Agnes Goode Kindergarten, children access their 15 hour of preschool over 2 full days a week and 1 half a day per fortnight. Your child can be part of our Red Group or be part of our Yellow Group. It is important that you ensure your preference for one of these groups (due to work commitments or other circumstances) is recorded on the Agnes Goode Kindergarten cover page document, as vacancies are limited.
Session times are as follows
- Red Group
- Monday and Tuesday full days from 8:45am to 3:30pm + alternate Friday mornings from 8:45am to 11:45am (even weeks 2,4,6 etc)
- Yellow Group
- Wednesday and Thursday full days from 8:45am to 3:30pm + alternate Friday afternoons from 12:30pm to 3:30pm (even weeks 2,4,6 etc)
Fees for Kindergarten
Agnes Goode Kindergarten is a non profit organisation, and the majority of our funding is through Kindergarten fees with the amount determined by the Governing Council.
Families receive an invoice and fees are due by the end of the first week in Term One. Please note: An option of 20% fee discount is given for payment of full year’s fee (= $540.00)
Collaborative and supportive partnerships with Families developed through regular interactions and sharing of information are integral to our learning program, (e.g. input into decision making, programming cycle and as part of our Governing Council).
We actively encourage and value parent voice, the involvement of families, and the wider community in our Kindergarten as much as possible. Your children love to see you helping out. You may be able to spend time supporting children’s learning by involvement in small group activities including cooking, assisting with gardening or maintenance work, sharing an interest or talent you have. Please feel free to talk to us about how you would like to get involved.
As part of the DECD guidelines, all government preschools are required to prioritise enrolment applications for children living within the preschool's local catchment area first. Families out of the catchment area may be offered a place in our second round of enrolment offers.
Please contact Kathy Wiseman, Director on 8362 3163 or via email for more information and to organize completion of the Preschool enrolment registration form and cover page document.
Vacancies are limited and we refer to our Priority of Access Procedure when full to capacity. See Policies section.
You will be contacted via email regarding our Orientation and Information Sessions and our Transition Program.
